Technology Background

The need for safer, high-energy-density batteries has motivated the development of solid state batteries. Solid state electrolytes (SSEs) that feature a high ionic conductivity and a thin thickness are the key to achieve high performance solid state batteries.

 

However, the severe Li loss during the high temperature sintering process can great affect the ionic conductivity of SSEs, especially for SSE films. HighT-Tech is commercializing a broad range of high-performance SSE membranes synthesized by ultrafast high-temperature sintering (UHS) technology.
